Milwaukee’s depth and second-quarter surge decide game in Oklahoma City

The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 110-93 on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, at Paycom Center, closing the final game before the All-Star break with a wire-to-wire road win built on ball movement, rebounding and three-point shooting.

The result came in a matchup heavily influenced by absences. Oklahoma City played without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdominal strain) and Jalen Williams (right hamstring strain). Milwaukee was again without Giannis Antetokounmpo (right calf strain), and Doc Rivers did not coach the game; assistant Darvin Ham served as acting head coach.

Ousmane Dieng leads all-around effort against his former team

Forward Ousmane Dieng, recently moved out of Oklahoma City ahead of the trade deadline, delivered one of his most complete NBA performances: 19 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four blocks. Milwaukee’s scoring balance was reflected across the rotation, with multiple contributors reaching double figures and the offense generating 25 assists on 44 made field goals.

AJ Green added 17 points and made five 3-pointers, while Milwaukee’s perimeter volume helped open the game. The Bucks finished 17-of-42 from three-point range (40.5%), a key separator in a contest where the Thunder also relied on outside shooting but converted at a lower rate (15-of-45, 33.3%).

Game flow: early control, decisive run, then defensive closure

Milwaukee led 30-25 after the first quarter and expanded the margin before halftime, taking a 67-55 advantage into the break. The Bucks’ control strengthened across the middle quarters; they led 89-73 after three and prevented Oklahoma City from generating consistent half-court offense while forcing 16 Thunder turnovers.

  • Final score: Bucks 110, Thunder 93
  • Quarter scores: Milwaukee 30-37-22-21; Oklahoma City 25-30-18-20
  • Team shooting: Milwaukee 46.3%; Oklahoma City 37.3%
  • Turnovers: Milwaukee 10; Oklahoma City 16
  • Rebounds: Milwaukee 58; Oklahoma City 52

Thunder production and a notable debut

Isaiah Joe scored 17 points to lead Oklahoma City, and Chet Holmgren posted 16 points and 13 rebounds. The Thunder’s offense leaned on spacing and jump shooting without its primary creators, but missed opportunities and giveaways limited its ability to threaten Milwaukee’s lead after halftime.

The night also marked the NBA debut of Nikola Topic, the Thunder’s 2024 first-round pick, who logged 12 minutes and scored two points with one rebound and one assist.

Next scheduled games after the All-Star break: Milwaukee at New Orleans on Friday, Feb. 20; Oklahoma City hosts Brooklyn on Friday, Feb. 20.
